Washington Park campground is quiet this Thursday night beside the Salish Sea. Hauling our trailer over the Cascade Mountains gave Suzi some practice before she drives solo starting tomorrow. All is well but for a shocking lack of marshmallows.

After months of thought and planning, lists are being completed. I made an offhanded comment a few years ago that I would like to ride the Northern Tier. Suzi’s talent for planning lets the adventure begin. The North Cascades Highway is now open to bicycles. We’re excited to start the ride this Friday, May 7.
